Return to In-Person Instruction/Extracurriculars

return to school

Good Afternoon,

I want to thank the entire Hamilton educational community during the suspension of in-person learning and transition to remote instruction over the past twelve (12) days.

The four (4) remote learning days (January 18 - 21, 2022) were highly successful, thanks to the dedication of our parents and the commitment of our teachers and educational assistants.

Additionally, I want to thank the district support staff for the work completed on sanitizing our buildings and the food service staff for providing daily lunches to students.

Reported staff and student absences have improved significantly over this twelve (12) day period, and Hamilton City Schools will resume all in-person learning and most extracurricular activities starting Monday, January 24, 2022.

These are unprecedented times, and the district will continue to make decisions based on the safest and best interests of the 9,500 students we proudly serve daily.

Thank you for your continued support.

Respectfully,

Michael Holbrook
Hamilton City Schools
Superintendent
